View south of Sollas Glacier with ice covered Lake Bonney in foreground. Fresh large lateral moraine on west side of Sollas Glacier and a very small moraine adjacent to the west side of Sollas Glacier. This was taken from near station 58 and can be compared with black and white #1597 taken at station 53 on the same date.
