Summarizes geological investigations carried out at McMurdo Station and in the mountains of southern Victoria Land during the year spent with USARP as the Soviet Exchange Scientist. The importance of the discovery of amphibolite-facies granite-gneiss domes in southern Victoria Land is noted.
